In the heart and soul

Yep, we’re right smack bang in the centre of it all. Walking or tram’s distance from the best Melbourne has to offer - be that a fine dining destination like Gimlet (5 mins walk up the Lane), or the best dumplings - Shandong Mama Mini (just downstairs, next door).

Wonderful theatre or art - an easy walk, great bars - the same. Boutique shopping representing the finest craftsmanship and design - all in easy reach. Books, cafes, the capital’s sporting venues or a wander along the river - all yours. Walk to the Australian Open Tennis or the MCG. We’d be happy to provide recommendations to suit you on booking.

For essential supplies there are small supermarkets within 5 mins walk on Elizabeth Street, pharmacies and bottle shops. The Vic Market is a short (free) tram ride up Elizabeth Street.

Getting around

Given the building dates to 1928-30 there is no on-site parking and you won’t need a car as everything is within an easy walk or tram ride. If you do have a car, there are plenty of carparks around that have weekend or longer stay options, so if you require one we can provide some suggestions.

Transfers from the airport are straightforward - Airbus will take you within an easy and free tram ride along Collins or Flinders St, or a taxi/Uber can deliver you door to door.

Melbourne’s trams are free within the inner city zone. To get further afield to Fitzroy, Carlton or St Kilda you can get an explorer pass from Public Transport Victoria (PTV)
